To become a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, you must get CEAP certification. To obtain this, one has to go through an employee assistance program and work towards a certain number of continuing education units. The Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) certification is the only EA professional credential that demonstrates mastery of the concepts and skills required by competent EA professionals. Both certification courses (CEAP® and CEAP® Global) presents twenty hours of content knowledge relevant to EA practice within a global perspective and includes interactive exercises, videos, selected readings, case studies, test your knowledge and end of module assessments questions.
