Music met mission at NS Norfolk as Operation MWR brought Jelly Roll, Gwen Stefani, and Hueston to the stage for a powerful night celebrating the Navy community. What started as a creative MWR marketing challenge evolved into a base-wide morale booster at NSA Panama City. The military community has access to fitness, tickets, digital libraries, travel and more through the Morale, Welfare & Recreation, or MWR, program.

The DoD Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Libraries are transforming to combine resources and efforts of the five branches of service (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Space Force) to deliver the highest value of online library services to DoD Service members and families. MWR supports the four geographic areas of NAS Pensacola Mainside, Corry Station, Saufley Field and the Blue Angel Recreation area with Fitness Centers and Pools, Marinas, Ballfields, Child Care, Golf Course, Bowling Center, Movie Theaters, Single Service Member Programs and multiple Club and Food and Beverage facilities. The Army Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) program is a quality-of-life program that directly supports readiness by providing a variety of community, Soldier, and family support activities... MWR benefits offer an alternative to traveling and making reservations off of base.

mwr 32nd street, Most of the activities and services that the MWR offers require very little travel time, they are generally located on base and easily accessible to anyone with a military ID. Eligible service members and families can learn about MWR programs for fitness, libraries, concerts, travel, golf courses, outdoor recreation and more.
